UzFBF is the official national governing body responsible for the regulation, development, and international representation of bodybuilding and fitness in Uzbekistan.

Official status and recognition

Officially registered in 2006 and recognized by the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan. Member of the World Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation (WBPF) and the Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation (AFBB): international governing bodies with their own world championship cycle and judging code, distinct from IFBB. The federation works alongside the Ministry of Sport of Uzbekistan and the National Healthy Lifestyle and Fitness Association.

Every sanctioned UzFBF competition runs on one judging code, athlete education, and integrity control: the operational discipline behind the federation's WBPF and AFBB standing.

State-accredited education

The Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports (UzGUFKS) has launched the country's first four-year state bachelor's degree in bodybuilding and fitness coaching: a state-recognized diploma, a systematic pipeline of certified fitness professionals, and the foundation for a national standard of the fitness profession.
